  • Krasula // Pierogi Bar
Krasula is a pop-up pierogi bar that brings modern Polish flavor to the bustling New York food scene. By elevating pierogi using farm-fresh ingredients, we bring gourmet to the streets.

Eastern European soul food - the pierogi is a half-moon shaped dumpling, traditionally made by hand, filled with sweet or savory ingredients. At Krasula menu offerings are simple, made with fresh, natural ingredients, and an array of rejuvenated pierogi fillings, toppings, and whole grains. However you will always find, the traditional pierogi such as potato & cheese and cabbage on the menu. We cater to the traditional eater, as well as the vegetarian, the vegan and the gluten free conscious persons. We serve pierogi for everyone!

Krasula is a self-initiated project, conceived out of my love for Pierogi and the need of elevating Polish culinary culture in New York. I have fully branded the bar, re-designed the recipes and sauces, stylized the food plates, designed the physical experience of the space and came up with a well thought out business model. I'm currently raising the funds to build the space, and purchase the equipment needed. To learn more or to sign up for our first pierogi party please visit the website: krasulapierogibar.com

  • P90X workout Infographic
Together with my husband Mike we set on a quest to get in shape, we started P90X extreme workout. The outcome shows our quite different results of the first 10 days.

Even though we set to do the workout together, most of the time Mike did everything but workout with me. Without his knowledge I tracked what he did when he did not workout with me.

  • Bolshephobia
Exhibition design hole nr. 12 as part of the spring show at School of Visual Arts in New York City, each hole in the show was based on a chosen phobia. I chose Bolshephobia.

In Russia, the shadow of the Communist past hangs heavy over its populace, where Communist leaders imposed strict rules about income, religion, and politics. The early Bolsheviks objected to white cows, thinking the color would remind the peasants of the royalists. In 1919 the Central Committee ordered all white cows dyed red. Those who opposed the Bolshevik regime paid a heavy price. Executions, separations from friends and family, and prison sentences in rough barracks where food and water were scarce, were oftentimes the punishment. Stalin, a bloodthirsty dictator, is the primary trigger for this phobia.

  • FAO Schwarz, winter book concepts
This was a proposed concept for FAO Schwarz Christmas Book. I came out with the concept of using reduced in color style of illustrations, the old fashion pen and ink technique, which I felt would truly bring out the beautiful, colorful, timeless toys of FAO Schwartz. I have created story boards, and joined forces with the talented Illustrator Krystyna Stroinki, with whom I have worked close to make these concepts come to life.

  • Cardboard speakers design and packaging
While working at Merkury Innovations I was asked to design a line of cardboard speakers for children. The goal was to design speakers which would fold flat, and the packing had to be able to hang. I designed 3 sets of speakers and wanted the packaging to reflect of what is inside. Inspired by the structure of the FedEx envelope, I created an envelope with a window which shows the speaker. The packaging pulls from the design elements of each speaker. The paper and all of the materials used were recycled.

Spindle is a fully functional collapsible closet tree. It can hold up to 120 hangers with clothing. Spindle, provides closet for those unable to afford one, or those with small spaces. • Redesign of a guitar for Raising Malawi
This project was created at the School of Visual Arts, NYC at the MFA Designer as Author program. We were each (18 of us total) given a fender guitar to redesign based on a charity of our choice. I chose Raising Malawi. I felt that this organization needed more attention, and I felt heart broken at the thought of little children loosing their parents, later their own lives due to a disease which should be long gone.

  • Saturday Nightmares brand development
Together with my husband Mike, I have created Saturday nightmares Expo and so far I have co-produced 2 shows, the first one in March 2010 in Jersey City NJ, and the second in June 2011 in East Rutherford NJ. We have developed the brand, and all of the necessary proportional materials.

Saturday nightmares is a Classic Horror Expo which takes place once per year, and features vendors, as well as celebrity guests. Some of our past guests include: Martin Landau, Tippi Hedren, Bruce Dern, Sid Haig, George A. Romero, Adrienne Barbeau, Barbara Steele and many more.

We host panel discussions, screen films and provide fans with access to meet their favorite stars and get their autographs. During our last show we conduced a zombie walk which was a great turn out.
Saturday Nightmares' mission is to be the stage for actors, directors, make-up artists, effects artists and studios who have significantly contributed to the classic and current Horror, Sci-Fi and Suspense genres.

Special thanks goes to our families and friends we could not have done it without their generous help.
Stay tuned for our show nr. 3 details to come.
